Can you imagine a church ...

Imagine. What a great word. Imagine: to picture something in your mind that does not yet exist or has not yet been personally experienced. It is a word of great potential and great expectation.

When it comes to church, and what it looks like to be a follower of Christ alongside others, imagination is what spurs us on toward all God has in mind as His kingdom purposes unfold on this earth.

Can you imagine a church where Jesus is the center, where it's not about us, but about the gospel and it's power to redeem our lives and bring God glory?

Can you imagine a church where people are REAL, no facades, just genuinely accepted and loved by each other, no matter what class, race, or background?

Can you imagine a church where people's lives were actually changing because of God's transforming power?

Can you imagine a church that blesses its surrounding community in such a way that the neighbors would miss it if it closed its doors?

Can you imagine a church with people who were passionate about Sundays and the areas their gifts function in the local
body?

Can you imagine a church that cared as much about those outside of its doors as it does about those on the inside?

Imagining this kind of church has led a group of us to plant a new church in Pinellas County, Florida, called LifeBridge Church. Logistically, it has involved several of us moving to a new place, meeting new people, and devoting time and attention to furthering God's kingdom work in Pinellas county. Spiritually, it is an adventure of faith and our opportunity to experience all God has to offer in a place of total trust and commitment to His purposes.

Our invitation to you

We invite you to imagine with us. We invite you to be a part of this bridge-building effort, to reach a community with God's love. Whether you live in Florida or serve our King in another place, you can participate in our efforts to further His Kingdom in this area.  Browse our website and catch a glimpse of our vision.  Listen to the sermon, "Jesus the Savior" and hear our heart's cry. Then, if you are led to partner with us, you can become a BridgeBuilder in the following ways:

1.    Come and join us.

We have families moving to the area to join us.  We have young people coming down to spend time this summer reaching out to neighbors and serving our community.  And we have some who just have visited to see with their own eyes the work we are doing and be a part of it.  We'd love to have you.

2.   Pray.

We believe prayer is what paves the way for our efforts to reach this area, and unless we cry out to Him to guide and intervene in our affairs, we will not be effective servants of our King.  So pray with us.  Click here to receive our monthly prayer requests.

3.    Tell others.

You might know someone who would be excited to hear about our ministry.  Tell them, and let us know so we can share our heart and vision with them as well. You can send them an e-vite to our site here.

4.    Become a financial partner.

Our ministry is dependant on the generous gifts of others.  You can partner with us in such a way that we become your representatives in sharing the gospel of Christ with those in Pinellas County, Florida.

We have partnered with GCM (Great Commission Ministries) for our church staff mobilization. GCM provides us the highest in financial accountability and above reproach fundraising objectives and is a member in good standing of ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability...learn more here) and numerous other accountability partners. (Learn more about GCM here.)

Joe is considered a missionary on staff with GCM and is responsible to raise support for salary and ministry expenses.

We believe God owns it all, and allows us to steward His wealth and resources.  We are trusting Him to provide for the needs of LifeBridge Church, His church.  We also believe it is a priviledge to participate in kingdom work, so if your heart is cheerful in the giving, then GIVE!  If He should use you to support our work, we know it is His love being funneled through your generosity.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to .
